Kairosoft’s One Piece restaurant sim — Grand Gourmet context

I used Wikipedia for the studio’s founding year and the Kairosoft site plus Steam for this release. I did not find a line that says this is their first One Piece game, so I am not writing one.
The studio
Wikipedia dates Kairosoft to 1996 in Tokyo and describes simulation games. The company site carries a 1996 copyright line. Steam search on 2026-10-27 still listed Game Dev Story, Cafe Master Story, Dream House Days, and Dungeon Village as separate games; their store links are on the similar-games page. Staff counts and revenue were not in those sources.
This release
Steam and Bandai Namco credit Kairosoft as the developer and Bandai Namco as the publisher. The pixel shops, the menu math, and the furniture combos sit next to Cafe Master Story. That is a comparison of public store pages, not a claim that one game is a reskin of the other.
