Restaurant layout in Grand Gourmet

Checked 2026-10-27: Game8 supplies spacing and furniture-placement details. Into Indie Games independently supports comfort, floor themes, and decoration bonuses; it does not establish an optimal grid.
Rules that change income
Comfort past a threshold unlocks remote orders and upgrades how tables look. Franky expands the shop, so large furniture should stay off the outer edge. Ceiling pieces do not collide with floor furniture and cover a wide area, so they are the first layer. A memorial statue in the middle of the seats, with tables around it, covers more tables than a statue in a corner. A large aquarium with tables and matching decor around it raises comfort and the bill.
Spacing and themes
Leave one tile between tables. Comfort falls when they touch. Paths do not jam, so a wide aisle is optional. Grouping one category of furniture around a table turns that table into a theme, such as Navy, Drum Kingdom, Alabasta, Skypiea, Thriller Bark, Fish-Man Island, Wano, or the World. Themed tables score higher in the hospitality check. Hospitality has 100 possible points and a 75-point pass threshold in Game8’s single-source score table.
A layout you can reason about
Use this qualitative arrangement as a checklist, not a calibrated grid or a claim of optimal coverage. The exact furniture effect area must be read from the available placement preview; no unsupported radius or coordinate is assigned.
